Achievement Gap meeting

A community meeting to address education issues facing Hispanics, including the achievement gap and dropout rate, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Colorado Springs School District 11 administration building, 1115 N. El Paso St. Nita Gonzalez, daughter of Chicano activist Corky Gonzalez, will speak. There will also be a citizen panel discussion, and D-11 Superintendent Nicholas Gledich will answer questions.
