Traces of the Trade: A Screening

Fuller Theological Seminary in Colorado announces

The 6th Annual WINDRIDER FILM FORUM in COLORADO

The Windrider Film Forum takes participants on a journey of the heart, mind and soul—creatively, intellectually, and spiritually—as we explore our common humanity through film. In a culture dominated by noise and dialogue that is polarizing and divisive, the Windrider Film Forum creates space for genuine conversation, honesty, and understanding. This year’s forum features three films that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Also plan to join us for Windrider Forum films:

Friday, June 10th, 7pm – TRACES OF THE TRADE

Followed by a Q&A with racial dialogue facilitator, Harold Fields

This 2008 Sundance selection is an honest and disturbing look at a troubling family secret – these Rhode Island descendents are members of the largest slave-trading family in US history

Saturday, June 11th, 7pm – KINYARWANDA

Followed by a Q&A with Director, Alrick Brown, and co-Producer, Deatra Harris

An inspirational look at the power of forgiveness and reconciliation

set against the horrific backdrop of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.

Winner World Dramatic Audience Award, 2011 Sundance Film Festival
