The Face of Immigration

Citizens Project was recently involved in the Colorado Springs Diversity Forum’s Everybody Welcome Week. We attended the immigration symposium and learned a lot about the realities of immigration and the military, economy, and education system. In learning about the path to comprehensive immigration reform, we were reminded what the real face of immigration looks like: hardworking families and young students who want an equal opportunity for education and a good future.

Recently, a non-profit based in Houston launched a campaign for undocumented students to share their photos on Instagram. The photos were a beautiful way to share the lives of these students.  To see the photos and learn more, click here.
