I will always remember being intrigued by the “Celebrate Diversity” bumper sticker I saw around town. That’s how I first learned about Citizens Project and the wonderful people who shared that message. Citizens Project has been our community watchdog for 25 years, always ready to remind us when we stray from the principles of diversity, equality, and separation of church and state. During my time on City Council I counted on Citizens Project to support those issues. When Citizens Project speaks, I listen.Citizens Project is as relevant today as it was 25 years ago.  Keep challenging us to be better. Don’t stop reminding us to embrace diversity in our community and to get involved in the issues that matter most in today’s world.” -Jan
