Shining a Light on Oversight: Presented by the Law Enforcement Accountability Project
Postponed due to COVID-19
From the Law Enforcement Accountability Project with regard to the April 2 event:
Please know that we come to you after deep thought and consideration. Your health and safety are our utmost concerns at this time. We have decided to postpone the April 2 event, “Shining a Light on Oversight.”
Amidst the announcement that COVID-19 is categorized both as a global pandemic and as state and national emergencies, and with the first death in Colorado being reported out of El Paso County, postponing this event is really the only option for keeping our community safe. Reducing harm to our community and team are foremost in our minds.
From the advice of the CDC to cancel or postpone large gatherings, we are doing our part to avoid any possible unintended spread of COVID-19.
Please continue to check back here. We will let you know the new date when we have it, and will keep you updated on future events and announcements.
Thank you for your understanding, support and solidarity. Stay safe. We are all in this together.
