Citizens’ Religious Freedom Institute
Religion and Public Schools

Citizens Project is delighted to report that our inaugural Citizens’ Religious Freedom Institute, held on April 17, 2010, was a tremendous success! More than 30 teachers, administrators, students and community activists joined us at this one day seminar on how the First Amendment to the US Constitution protects religious freedom in public schools.

A comprehensive religious freedom toolkit outlining information presented at the Institute will be available on our web site in the coming weeks: please stay tuned! For more information: Email Barb Van Hoy or call us at (719) 520-9899.

2010 Divine Award

Citizens Project’s sixth annual Divine Award Celebration honoring John Weiss was a tremendous success. Friends and colleagues gathered from across the community – and across “the aisle” – to salute  a visionary leader whose positive impact on the Pikes Peak region is indisputable!
