Every year during the Legislative Session, Citizens Project monitors bills to make sure that our Legislators uphold our values of equity, inclusion, and separation of church and state. We hold our Legislators accountable in several ways:
Activate our followers to contact elected officials and encourage them to support or fight against legislation.
We produce podcasts, blogs, and host events to educate our community about the impacts of legislation.
We attend Lobby Days at the Capitol, like LGBT Lobby Day, to talk with our representatives about issues in our community.
Legislator Report Card:
We monitor and take positions on legislation that impact equity, inclusion, and separation of church and state. We report back to our community about how El Paso County Legislators voted on these bills, so we can hold them accountable.
