Additionally, all candidates from other school board races were invited to participate.
School District 11 Candidate Forum- RECAP
Tuesday, October 13, 2015 Citizens Project held a forum for Colorado Springs School District 11 candidates. All candidates participated in the event and it drew an audience of over 100 engaged voters, with standing room only!
Colorado Springs School District 11 hosted and promoted the event in addition to televising it live on Comcast channel 16.

2014 Colorado Primaries
The date of this year's primary election is Tuesday, June 24th.
The last day to register online to receive a ballot in the mail is June 16th, but you can still register in person up until election day. However, the last day for affiliated voters to change their political affiliation is May 23rd. Unaffiliated voters may affiliate at any time.
Ballots will be mailed out on June 2nd and the last day to request a mail ballot is June 17th.

Colorado: Caucuses and Primaries
In Colorado, political parties use both caucuses and primaries to determine who will be on the ballot in the coordinated election in the fall. The purpose of caucuses is to determine who will be on the primary ballot in June.
The party caucus meetings took place earlier this month, on March 4. In these caucus precinct meetings, party members joined together to discuss nominees for party primary elections and delegates for county, state, and national assemblies (as applicable). D11 School Board Candidate Forum
On Monday, we hosted our District 11 School Board Candidate Forum. The forum was a wonderful success with many community members in attendance providing excellent questions for the candidates to answer. Joe Cole moderated the discussion with candidates Charlie Bobbitt, Al Loma, LuAnn Long, Jim Mason, Linda Mojer, and Jim Tucker.
