Staff:
Kristy Milligan, Executive Director
Kristy Milligan received her BS in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder and holds a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. Prior to her appointment as Executive Director, Milligan served as Citizens Project’s Development Director for nearly three years. She brings diverse experience in development, communications and community organizing to her position, as well as a passion for the mission of Citizens Project.
RoMa Johnson, Development Director
A native of Colorado Springs, Johnson returns home after a career spanning Los Angeles and New York City. “I believe strongly in building a culture of philanthropy. At Citizens Project this goal is interconnected with active civic engagement and community building. To me, this connection makes each of us and our city stronger, healthier, and more joyful.” Johnson is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in facilitating .mission-directed strategic planning and resource development. Her experience includes work with not-for-profit and faith-based organizations, community centers, healthcare providers and hospitals, universities, small municipalities and individuals.
