Wednesday, August 1, 2012, 7 a.m.-8:30 a.m.
Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, 825 N. Cascade Ave. (at Colorado College)
Featuring keynote speaker Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia
We salute YOU. All of you. In this time of disaster and loss, we have never been more proud to be a part of a community that has shown its true colors. The people of Colorado Springs and our neighboring towns stand together, helping one another, and showing courage and compassion. The Urban League will continue to be here to serve this outstanding community.
Join the Urban League of the Pikes Peak Region for a fresh hot breakfast as we update you on our progress as we move into a new era of transparency and solvency; hear about the latest educational outreach programs and partnerships underway; and learn why the Urban League continues to matter to so many people in our city and region.
Registration begins and coffee is available at 7 a.m. We encourage you to come a little early, as the program starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. We promise to adjourn by 8:30 a.m. to get you to work on time, ready to start your day!
This event is a fundraiser. Please note that your breakfast is free and there is no obligation, but we hope you will be able to make a voluntary donation to support the efforts of the Urban League.
RSVP’s are required. If you are coming as the guest of a table captain, please RSVP to your own table captain. All are welcome, and you may also RSVP directly.
