2018 State Legislator Report Card
How did your state representatives vote on bills that impact equality, diversity, and separation of church and state?
CITIZENS PROJECT MONITORS AND TAKES POSITIONS ON LEGISLATION that impacts equality, diversity, and separation of church and state. In 2018 Citizens Project took positions on 11 bills.
THIS REPORT CARD identifies how each state legislator from El Paso County voted on those bills. Each bill includes a brief nonpartisan description of the bill, Citizens Project’s position, the outcome of the
legislation, bill sponsors, and which El Paso County officials voted with and against Citizens Project. In some cases, legislators did not have the opportunity to vote on a bill because it lost in committee or the other chamber and did not make it to a full vote.
MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD and let our representatives know how you feel about their votes. Call them to thank them for supporting equality, diversity, and separation of church and state. If a vote does not align with your value system, let them know that as well.
